Fabricate, assemble, install, and hydro test process piping systems for offshore drilling jackets, skids, and decks. The employee is expected to climb and work in high places that may exceed 200 feet in height and also work in confined spaces. The employee must work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.
REQUIREMENTS:
A high school diploma, or general education development (GED) diploma and 3 - 5 years fitter work related experience and/or training is required. Persons holding this position must submit and pass a blue print reading test. Persons holding this position must have the ability to perform basic pipe fitting functions and processes such as reading blue prints and drawings, perform layouts, build piping systems to specified tolerances, and use industry machines, tools, and equipment.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
