Rigger/Operator

TASK:

Perform work involving operation of heavy equipment, rigging of the equipment loads, and completion of various construction projects. The employee is expected to climb and work in high places that may exceed 200 feet in height and also work in confined spaces. The employee must work overtime, nights, and weekends as required by the workload.

REQUIREMENTS:

A high school diploma, or general education development (GED) diploma and 3 5 years related experience and or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is required. Persons holding this position must submit to and pass a practical, hands-on, equipment operations test. Persons holding this position must have the ability to drive and move various heavy equipment and also demonstrate proficiency performing heavy equipment operator functions. NCCCO Certification is required



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
